Kiefer recently released a cover of 60s jazz group, The Crusaders', tune ‘When There’s Love Around’, originally released back in 1974. Bringing a breath of fresh air to song, he releases an outdoor performance video of the track, accompanied by his talented buddies. The film uses a mixture of camera styles; there’s the hand-held, sepia-toned toned grain that captures the warm essence of the 60s, and also a crisper image that resembles the modern-day. The performance is humble and understated; the musicians move tamely to the beat, absorbed by their creations. Documentary-style footage captures the audience’s enjoyment, people sat on the grass, basking in the sweet summer tones that are being emitted.
